Henry Hemmen & Associates, Inc. (HHA) is a family owned, licensed brokerage firm located in Moline, Illinois. For over fifty-four (54) years HHA has assisted the Dental Profession with Accounting, Practice Management, Practice Brokerage and Practice Appraisal services. Primarily focused in the Midwest, HHA has provided consulting/brokerage assistance nationwide. Their professional affiliations include the National Society of Accountants, the Independent Accountants Association of Illinois, the National Association of Practice Brokers, the Accountants Association of Iowa, the Institute of Business Appraisers, and the Practice Valuation Study Group. (PVSG is a group of approximately 50 dental consulting agencies providing a national information network. Membership is by invitation only).

Henry Hemmen graduated from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois, with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Since 1964, he has worked with physicians and dentists providing accounting, practice management services, and income tax preparation. In 1992, HHA’s service offerings were expanded to include practice brokering.

Tom Hemmen graduated from Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa, with bachelor of science degrees in Economics and in Business Administration with a Finance emphasis. He leverages his 27 years of business management and consultative sales experience to structure winning solutions. Tom’s involvement with HHA began in 2008, becoming a permanent member of the team in 2016 and partial owner in January 2017.

Larry Squire, D.D.S.: graduated from St Ambrose College in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science Degree and earned his D.D.S. from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1976. Spending the next 30 years in private practice and serving as an adjunct instructor at U of I ICD. He then sold his and developed the practice management curriculum and the DAU program at University of Iowa College of Dentistry. In 2017, Dr. Squire joined the HHA Team. He spends one day a week as an Adjunct and the rest of the week assisting doctors transition their practices.
